NosirrahSec here (Just my last name backwards with a ‘Sec’ sticker slapped onto it for funsies)
My real name is Joshua Harrison and I grew up poor back in the 80s and 90s in a somewhat affluent small town in Massachusetts (mostly, we moved a lot/were homeless for a bit lol); relevant because we couldn’t afford a computer like most of the kids I knew, but was obsessed with technology since as far back as I can remember so I began building computers from trash I found on the side of roads, in dumpsters, etc. by the time I was 10 or 11 or so.
I only had a functioning “gaming” PC by about 12 years-old. I saved up to go buy a 3dfx graphics card at a Circuit City; Voodoo 2000 series I think? It’s hard to remember. The rest of the PC was frankenbuilt from richer people’s trash I found and knew the value of lol
A billion years later and now I’m laid off from my longest stint in anything, 9 years-ish in tech now from Support Specialist (deskside nerd internally at a biotech) to Senior Infrastructure Engineer at a biotech-focused MSP with roughly 100ish clients and thousands upon thousands of endpoints and identities.
