Our local Python group had a meeting the other day about ATProto, and the speaker demoed a use case of how they use ATProto, for LinkedTrust, along with a demo.
I like the idea about Validation, Evidence, and sharing as a credential.
As a note, their source code includes Claude as a contributor.
One of the core architectural values of ATProto is that every single object is signed by a publicly verifiable identity, and all objects created by that entity are related. This has significant value for data that should contain an authentication layer.
I really think Tangled is an interesting example. Every git commit is an ATProto object signed by your DID.
I’m going to try tangled with a group, I’ll share how the experience goes as we explore it. I like the concept of it and think it will be a good experience.
