Thoughts on Hugo, BSSG, and Zola for static sites?

Over the last year or two I’ve seen more folks move off Hugo to Zola or BSSG for personal or indieweb static sites. Most recently, Neil Brown:

I was curious if anyone had any thoughts to share on their experiences with one or more of three. For example do you find one lends itself better than the other just with blogging, with online business presence, or just with indieweb building, or some combination? Things like that

I had a professional gig as a contractor customizing Hugo for a big museum. I know it well enough to know I vastly prefer Zola to Hugo. And at the moment it wouldn’t be sufficient, I would contend that a SSG may not be the correct solution long-term anyhow.
